Step One:
Go to parts.cat.com
Step Two:
Look to the top/right of page, click “Sign in or register”
Step Three:
Click “REGISTER”
Step Four:
SELECT DEALER STORE – at bottom of pop-up box, type closest city to your location, select city.
Step Five:
Select store you would like to shop from-this selected store will be the inventory you see in real time. Click the yellow SELECT STORE
Step Six:
Provide basic business information. (First Name, Last Name, Phone Number, Email, Company Name, Company Address, Dealer Customer Number-if known,
Step Seven:
Two boxes to check: Top box, “Yes, I Accept*” you’ll need to accept Caterpillar’s terms and conditions.
Bottom box is optional and will sign you up to receive email offers.
Step Eight:
Click on the yellow “CREATE MY CAT ACCOUNT”. Next screen verifies the email address you used, then click on yellow “CONTINUE”
Step Nine:
You will then receive an email from CWS_LOGIN@CAT.COM which will give you a several digit security verification code to enter. (Check your spam folder if you do not receive this email in a timely manner). Enter in the verification code.
Step Ten:
Select a username, (default is to use your email, this can’t be changed once it’s set) and select a password. Password must be at least 8 characters long, contain a number digit, an upper case letter, a lower case letter, and a special character, (@*&;=-!.%?_#$)
Once you’ve registered, our admin team will then link your registration with your account, (if applicable). Once your registration is linked, you’ll be able to see your store’s real time inventory, along with your pricing.
